Lovebug Goes Bungie Bouncing

Continuing with a 14 year tradition, we went to San Francisco for Thanksgiving.

Tuesday was Fisherman’s Wharf day where Lovebug became intrigued with the “Bungie Bounce” - an apparatus popular at beaches and tourist spots.

“Mama, my turn! My turn”, he said pulling me over to the line. I thought for sure he was too small, that no way would they let him do it. I was wrong.
They had a scale, they use to weigh little guys. The minimum weight: 35 lbs.

Lovebug passed.

Getting strapped in…

Listening to the instructions….at any moment I was expecting him to change his mind - but he didn’t.

Up, up and away…

The attendant asked him if he wanted to do a flip. He shook his head saying, “No, no”.

Catching some air - he was pretty light, and the attendant had to pull him down and release a couple of time to get him up there.

At the end of what felt like a 30 minute “turn” he came down only to scream, “Moooore!”

He definitely doesn’t get the daredevil gene from me.
